Squirrel monkey where can I buy one?

Yes, been really looking to buy a squirell monkey and looking for a baby…thanks for your help all

I wish I could say you can’t because I really believe that non domestic exotic animals do not belong in pet homes. If you think you are really prepared to own and care for this animal for the next 15 to 20 years, if you would want to be tied to an infant who needs your care 24/7, 365, that you cannot leave with a pet sitter or a boarding kennel, that no veterinarian in their right mind would touch or even allow in their clinic because of the possibility of zoonotic disease (diseases that monkeys and humans can catch from each other, there are over 200) if you would put all its needs before your own just as you would for a human infant then I would say you are a liar or crazy. Please do not commit this tragedy of thinking you can take care of a monkey properly and not end up needing to throw it away because you cannot take care of it and no one else will. Please!

Monkeys are illegal to own without some sort of wildlife license nearly everywhere. I really wouldn’t suggest a pet monkey to anyone. They’re wild animals, extremely difficult and expensive to house and care for, illegal in most places and a bite and disease risk. If you really want one type you location and "squirrel monkey" into google and you can see if there’s one near you, without your location I can’t really help you.
