Is it possible for me to get one? I live in Manitoba, canada. If so, about how much would it cost?
Better question, a Capuchin, because im pretty sure squirrel monkeys are endangered. Or a different type of small monkey.
I have two capuchins and they run about 8000 and up just to buy one. But you would need to call your local Fish and Wildlife people to find out if you can have them where you live.

Please don’t. Though monkeys may seem like fun pets, they bite and many people aren’t educated on how to take care of them properly. Poachers kill them and take babies from their mothers just to sell them to you. Then what happens when you don’t want them anymore? Do you just throw them away? Many become abandoned since people just don’t have the means to care for monkeys. So for the sake of the monkeys please don’t.
