They are both:

Multicellular
Heterotrophs (they eat organic compounds for energy)
Bilaterally symmetrical (Their left and right sides are mirror images, basically)
Triploblastic (they derive from embryos that have three tissue layers)
gonochoristic (that is, males and females are genders, determined by genetics)

They have a number of basic anatomical features in common. They both have mouths, stomachs, intestines, anuses. They both have nerve tissue and muscle tissue. They both have veins and arteries (although there are differences between the structure of both between species). They both have hair.

They're both rather frightening to find in your bed at night. I don't know the latter from experience, but I strongly suspect it is the case.
