Is there any part in the Twilight book that actually involves Edward even mentioning a spider monkey? Or any mention of the monkey? If you can find the exact page, that would be wonderful! And please don’t say "it’s in a running scene," because I kinda figure it would be in a running scene, already. Thank you!!
He didn’t say anything about it. The people who are making the movie are stupid and didn’t hire the rite actors or even have the rite phrases! i really wish they weren’t making a movie of it.

Nope. There isn’t any part in the book that says that. It’s just an added line that was included in the script.

In fact, he uses the words "little coward"
In page 279 of Twilight Edward says…
"Come on, little coward, climb on my back.."
