most new world monkeys have prehensile tails, most old world monkeys don’t. New world monkeys also generally have a short rostrum so they look like a human.

New World monkeys have flat noses, 3 premolars in each jaw instead of 2, and most have prehensile tails. They also lack as sophisticated color vision as Old World Monkeys.
