Where can i buy a pet monkey in Australia i would really like to know?
You cant. As far as I’m aware you can only have "non-threatened Australian" animals unless your a zoo. Of course there are a few exceptions but not many. Most need a license too but their easy to get.
Your best bet is to ask Peter Child at http://exoticpets.com.au/ in Canberra, he knows everything. (02 6231 2894)

You first have to make sure that you are the right person for a monkey. The most common species of monkey kept is the capuchin all though spider monkeys and macaques are also commonly kept. Here are some site that may help.

I also have a yahoo group for exotic pet owners called "You Have A What?"

There are several monkey owners there that would love to help you.
