See, they made fun of G.W. Bush for 8 years calling him a monkey and putting pictures on the internet, but one guy does it with an Obama picture and everyone starts bawww’ing. Double standard? Or protected status?
Welcome to the double standard of liberalism.
Liberals control the media & YA, liberals make the rules for others, there are no rules for them.
By the way, Obama is a monkey with good people skills.

I was just thinking that.
Double standard. The racism card only works one way. And BHO is using it to advantage.

B/C Bush has proven himself to be an idiot. Plus he makes faces that actually make him look like an idiot. What other president in history have been compared to apes? Obama, regardless of how much someone may spite the way he thinks, is still very intelligent. No one can deny that. So what purpose would someone have in comparing him to an ape?
Also, there is a double standard.

Editorial cartoonists do their thing regardless of party. I haven’t heard any extra whining from either side lately. What source do you reference?

I don’t think our president should be call anything but by his name. This is so un-American. I just don’t like it when anyone referees to out leaders other then there name. We should have more manners that name calling.

for the same reason that black people can joke and use the N*** word, but white people can’t. for the same reason that all kinds of religions are getting their day, but now christians can’t say ‘merry christmas’ anymore. for the same reason, you cannot say that you feel homosexuality is wrong and gay marriage is wrong.
political correctness at its worst. where truth is regarded as hate speech.

Well simply because Bush makes faces like a chimp does. Obama doesn’t.When people refer to Obama looking like an ape, they are making a racist and cruel statement implying all black people resemble Apes. I am appalled because my Great Grand daughter happens to be a Black Baby and I love her with every bit of my heart. You should be ashamed.

Because there is a racial implication — calling a black person a monkey is a known racial slur. That makes it hate speech, which is less acceptable than a straightforward insult. You could call Obama a cow or a dog, and that wouldn’t have the same implication.

I have never once called George Bush a monkey. Stop stereotyping and saying that alot of people call Bush a monkey. That’s just not true. Besides, IMO, it’s just rude whether it’s Bush or Obama. The name calling is ridiculous.

NO, it’s not an effing DOUBLE STANDARD! There is no history of a race who thinks it ’s superior calling white people monkeys and apes and trying to dehumanize them that way! But there is a long and ugly history of a race who thinks it’s superior calling blacks monkeys and apes and trying to dehumanize them that way and succeeding in making them second-class citizens. When you call any black a monkey you are drawing upon that horrible racist tradition. Not true when you call a white person a monkey!
WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT? I’m disgusted by the stupidity and the insensitivity I see around me.
