Does anyone have any information about a song that starts, "Monkey swings all livelong day…"?

In the late 1970s, I was in a preschool tap class and we had a recital where we sang a song that went, "Monkey swings all livelong day; eats bananas, no work, just play; listen my friends and…" while we tap danced. Does anyone know who the composer was? Or any info about the song at all?

I’ll bet it’s a kid’s song. This site has a huge number of them:
