I do not like the term though. I prefer to think of courtesy. It is not courteous to refer to someone of any skin colour, race or religion using a slur. Furthermore, calling people "black" shouldn't be considered offensive, not all blacks are African American after all, they could be Black hispanics or natives from an african country. I especially feel bad for caucasians who are placed in a group as "racist" even if they aren't.
