All racial connotations aside, he was screaming and yelling, and his behavior seemed similar to that of a monkey.
it can deff come across as being racist wether or not you mean it like that. i think it would be better off to say "stop acting like a child" because calling a black person a monkey, even if they were acting like a monkey and you were not refering to the racial slur, can still come across are wrong.

Well if you said it just because he was black…then yes.
But if you said it because he truly looked like a monkey and it wouldn’t have mattered if he was black,white,Korean,etc…

No, it’s not racist. There are people of all races that act as monkeys and you shouldn’t not tell them because you think they will take it the wrong way. If he was acting like a monkey, it’s not racist.
