It is cruel to keep any kind of monkey as a pet they need specialist care to live in groups and huge enclosures.And when they reach sexual matrity can become dangerous. If you love them you wouldn't keep one. much better to adopted on from Monkey World .They rescue apes of all shape and sizes from a cruel worldwide pet trade. If you contact them i'm sure they will be able to explain why they don't make good pets and why it is so cruel.http://www.monkeyworld.org/

All primates are wild animals and should never be kept as pets. Have you never watched Monkey Life on Sky's Animal Planet? Set in Dorset, it is the largest primate sanctuary in the world and they rescue them from all over the world. People think they are being kind to the monkeys, but they don't give them the proper food or environment or stimulation. Please don't get one.

I didn’t think that monkeys could be kept as pets….apart from the fact that it is cruel and unneccessary.
Go and see them at the zoo, and get yourself a dog
