4 weeks old.Somewhere in or close to the Pretoria (South Africa) area. I did my homework about the care and feeding. Will have a good and loving home with all the attention it needs.
Ok sorry to tell you this but you wont find a monkey for FREE!!! Marmoset are about anywhere form 2000 to 5000 and Capuchins are any where from 7000 to 9000 or more. NO one is going to give one away! Sorry if you want one that bad you will have to start saving that money because they cost tons and tons of money WAY beyond the ten grand or so you spend to get one

I don’t know why you are even asking this question. If you want a capuchin you are looking a few thousand dollars to get it. So obviously you havn’t done your homework. Why don’t you try to research how they rip the babies from their mom? Or how they can develope huge attitude problems when they reach maturity? Or even the fact that if they want something, they will scream and scream and scream until they get what they want? But seriously you will not find a free monkey. Sorry…

Baby monkeys are never free. Now, you might get one that’s an adult and has already become aggressive and destructive for free. Sadly, once they reach adulthood, both of these monkeys become exceedingly difficult to manage and are often given up to animal sanctuaries because their owners can no longer cope. Do the monkeys a favor and get a fish instead.

If you do find a "free baby" usually they have special problems or there parents were violent. Most ads that say free baby caputchin are not young and have had a violent history.
I would get a squirrel monkey first and pay 1500 then after about 10 years of having a 1 1/2 year old in diapers and paying for a baby sitter go for the caputchin.
