Im looking to get a monkey and i know people around me have them, but i want too make sure that it is ok to have one cause i know a lot of people around here do things and have things they shouldn’t…

Do you want to be labelled as cruel, selfish and ignorant? If you do, go ahead and get a Marmoset. You are sentencing it to a lonely life shut in a small area, because as they reach sexual maturity they will become vicious and bite as well as being very destructive and not care where it goes to the toilet.
Of course, you can always put nappies on it but as monkeys were not meant to wear nappies it wil probably rip them off.
These creatures are not pets, they are animals that should be in groups not solitary.
Call your local council to see if it is legal if you want to be selfish and add to the mental and physical detriment of a marmoset.
