There are quite a few adult monkey costumes as can be seen in the link below, 49 in total.
Looking at the prices though, unless you really would prefer to buy such a costume, it may be worth seeing if you can copy a costume like the Cymbal Monkey costume or buy a mask or the cheaper Gorilla accessories and work with it.

What do you mean there’s no proof of any prior forms of humans. There are huge amounts of them, the most complete and impressive is probably one found in the Rift Valley in Kenya (I believe), named Lucy. But there are many, many species that have been found, homo erectus, homo neanderthalis, and others – I’m by no means a biologist, but this amount of knowledge is worth accumulating.
EDIT: While I was typing this, MrNiceGuy above said almost exactly the same thing – very fitting as evidence that I’m not inventing these examples!
