Where can I find pictures of the Monkey King from Jackie Chan Adventures?

The bigger the pictures and better the quality, the better… Though I’ll probably take just about anything.

i am getting a capuchin monkey and i wanted to know how much do you spend on them for food and stuff a month?

Monkeys don’t stay babies forever. They aqre still wild animals and can be quite a handful when mature ie aggression, high active level.

Are monkey’s black and chinese aswell as the more generally known ones?

details neccessary for science GCSE coursework.
For those that answered. I meant that can monkey’s be different races just like humans are.

Are you asking about the color of primates? There are many colors and regions from where they come from. We need clarification with your question.

The vervet Monkey is a mammal, and thus does not have an external skeleton.

Im interested in buying a squirrel monkey?

Posted by admin on September 26th, 2009 and filed under squirrel monkey | 3 Comments »

Is it possible for me to get one? I live in Manitoba, canada. If so, about how much would it cost?
Better question, a Capuchin, because im pretty sure squirrel monkeys are endangered. Or a different type of small monkey.

I have two capuchins and they run about 8000 and up just to buy one. But you would need to call your local Fish and Wildlife people to find out if you can have them where you live.

Would you ever tell a spider monkey to shut the fook up? I mean if he was being rude?

So you are having a nice dinner with your date at a very fancy resteront. Calmly enjoying your steak and discussing politics a spider monkey lands in the middle of your plate knocking food everywhere. Then the spider monkey, in total un-coothness starts to wave his little fist and speak in mandarin chinese very loudly. Your date, who is now covered in your dinner looks at you with a look that is most certainly daring you to deal with the situation or they are going to have a fit.

What do you do? What-do-you-do?
booma, Only the finest! Doesn’t this happen to you? Perhaps you should go to classier resteronts?! lol j/k

I might ditch the date and go out with the spider monkey.

How can monkeys/apes still exist if we evolved from them?

Posted by admin on September 26th, 2009 and filed under monkeys | 10 Comments »

Ok, we evolved from monkeys/apes and then moved out of Africa. There are still monkeys/apes in Africa. An evolved species tends to wipe out the ancestor, because the new species is better for whatever reason. We don’t see ancient horses running around next to their modern relatives. Could we be cross breeds? I know some people are going to think this question is stupid, but come on! Why is there NO proof of ancient species living side by side to their modern relatives!

Because we did not evolve from them, but we have a common ancestor. Chimps are like our cousins (common grandparents), not our parents. And the reasons they did not ge replaced by us, is because they do fill a different niche then we do, hence we co-exist. Hope this helps.

Can a pygmy marmoset monkey be kept as a pet in the United states?

Posted by admin on September 24th, 2009 and filed under marmoset monkey | 4 Comments »

My birthday is tomorrow and my mom said i can get a monkey if i find one that does not grow big and it is legal to buy one. So about how big does this monkey grow are they cute and everything else u know. Thanks
please help me
i live in miami and well yes im ready to take care of a monkey if they r like babies then yeah cause i always take care of them. my friend has a monkey but i dont now wat it is though

yes it is ok, however, you may NEED a pemit for owning one, depending on your state. permits for this often take a long time to get.
Whether you need a permit or not:
It depends on the laws of your state, county and municipality. Check here to see if your state bans the private ownership of non-human primates (monkeys and their kin). If not, you still need to check with your county and municpal government, as many individual counties and municipalities ban pets that are otherwise legal within the stae.

If you are legally allowed to have a monkey as a pet, then consider the conditions under which monkeys are acquired from the wild, the conditions under which they are kept, their total unsuitability for a life of confinement, and the diseases they can contract and spread to humans. That, in addition to the fact that you would have the equivalent of a 3 year old baby in diapers throwing temper tantrums, hitting, biting, flinging excretement and occupying your every minute 24/7 for the next 25-50 years.

Read these websites to get a better idea of what you are talking about when you discuss "pet monkeys":
